Some bad news! With the economic situation many manufacturers are closing their U.K manufacturing plants or shifting their production east to make savings with low cost labour. Twyfords is one example who are planning to close their Alsager plant in the U.K.

Well here’s some good news from Kudos showers! They are bucking the trend, keeping production in the U.K AND increasing their product specification!  They have added Lifeshield technology to their Original range of shower enclosures which helps keep the glass looking clean, the difference being this treatment is permanent, where often other manufacturers’ versions need to be re-applied. The price has not increased and for a limited time they are actually cheaper with a promotional offer running till the end of August 2010 (see offers page).
